Course overview
What is the RSTRENG calculation? What are the abnormal operating conditions that may occur?
This course provides essential training for pipeline professionals on recognizing and assessing abnormal operating conditions (AOCs), including defects like welds, material issues, cracking, and corrosion. In alignment with PHMSA's Operator Qualification (OQ) rule under 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195, participants will gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with RSTRENG calculations for corrosion assessment. Upon successful completion of the course and passing both written and practical exams, participants will receive certification and continuing education units, meeting OQ requirements for engineers, technicians, and managers.
