Course overview

This one-hour self-paced course will cover basic cathodic protection and corrosion circuits and includes terms, definitions, corrosion rates, external microbial induced corrosion, and pipeline stresses. 

At the end of this course, students will be able to define AC/DC electrical concepts, name the types of electrical circuits, types of corrosion, and differentiate between anodic/cathodic corrosion cells, galvanic series, and MIC.
